Priority 1 Air Rescue (booth 2417) has been awarded a multi-year contract by the Defense Helicopter Command of the Royal Netherlands Air Force to provide virtual search and rescue (SAR) simulation training support services for the Airbus Helicopters AS532 Cougar and NHIndustries NH90 aircrews.

The training will take place at Priority 1’s Search and Rescue Tactical Training Academy in Nimes, France. A comprehensive simulation training package will include hoist mission training for basic to advanced inland SAR, ocean, shipboard operations and night operations, to be performed in all weather conditions and relevant environments.

The training provider also will be demonstrating an operational model of the simulator at its booth. The smaller, transportable version was designed specifically for Heli-Expo and provides a replica of the synethic devices currently employed at its Search and Rescue Tactical Training Academies in Mesa, Arizona, and Nimes-Garons, France.

Incorporated in 1999, Priority 1 Air Rescue operates business offices in Valletta, Malta, and Vancouver, Canada.
