Titan Helicopter Group is ready to add an AW139 to its fleet. It has signed a lease agreement with Lobo Leasing Ltd.
The helicopter is to be used to provide crew change flights to offshore mining vessels located along Namibia’s coastline. It would also provide search and rescue and EMS cover for the offshore installations.
“We are pleased to team with such a reputable operator as THG to further diversify our fleet into offshore mining support which is a new market area for Lobo,” said Lobo COO Mark Kelly. “Having known Titan for a long time, we welcome the opportunity to support their modern fleet with this AW139.”
Titan’s portfolio consists of licensed maintenance organizations. The company said it ranks as the No. 1 “large helicopter group in South Africa,” serving governments, oil and gas companies, and more. It operates in Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and South America.
