Rolls-Royce was awarded a more than $31 million contract for engine work on the Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey.
According to the U.S. Defense Department, 12 of the AE1107C engines will be for the U.S. Navy and two for the U.S. Marine Corps. Work will be done at Rolls-Royce facility in Indianapolis, Indiana, for completion by March 2019.
This is a modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract.
The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
