The U.S. Army says a UH-60 Black Hawk was brought down by enemy fire near Hit, Iraq, the second since 2007 started. “"I can report that that one was was brought down by automatic weapons fire,"”Army Maj. Gen. James Simmons, deputy commanding general for support with the Multi-National Force-Iraq, said Feb. 11. Simmons was in a nearby Black Hawk and witnessed the Jan. 25 attack.
