The Czech Republic's defense ministry plans to donate helicopters and weapons to Afghanistan's national army. The Czech army no longer uses the helicopters, one dozen Mil Mi-17s and Mi-24s. The deal must still be approved by the Czech government. If approved, delivery could be made to Kabul by the end of this year. Currently, the Czech Republic has 150 troops in the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan . For related news
