CJ Systems Aviation Group launched its Gulf Coast MedEvac operation Mar. 18, serving 10 counties around Mobile, Ala.

CJ has had an air ambulance and crews in the area since the SouthFlite program closed in 2004. The twin-engine Eurocopter EC135 can transport up to two patients with a crew of a pilot and two crewmembers. While the aircraft isn’t new to the area, it sports a new look-the red, white, and blue Gulf Coast MedEvac logo and colors. Gulf Coast MedEvac serves the region’s leading hospitals and EMS agencies from its current base at Mobile Regional Airport.
