Haverfield Corp. has AgRotor’s powerline assets, including five MD Helicopters MD500s.

Carroll Valley, Pa.-based Haverfield provides aerial support for electric utilities on a global scale. In addition to the MD500s, Haverfield flies a Eurocopter AS355 Twin Star. Its pilots fly linemen up to powerlines needing maintenance due to storm damage. The company was called upon in the 2005 Hurricane Katrina disaster relief effort in the Gulf region. Linemen are transported on a platform up to transmitter and sub-transmitter powerlines. Both carry high voltage electricity. In purchasing AgRotors’ assets, Haverfield acquired the ability to do spray work, agricultural as well as bug control.
