Management of Crashed Mi-8 May Face Criminal Charges

The government of Sierra Leone is threatening to bring criminal negligence charges against the management of Paramount Airlines following the June 3 crash of one of its Mil Mi-8s. The crash, on a flight from Freetown to Lungi International Airport, killed a crewmember and 21 officials and fans of a football team from the neighboring West African nation of Togo. Sierra Leone grounded all commercial helicopter flights and suspended its transport minister and civil aviation director following the crash. For related news
