Vector in Line to Buy U.K. Military Support Shops

Vector Aerospace of Toronto says it has been named preferred bidder by the U.K. Ministry of Defence to buy the Defence Aviation and Repair Agency (DARA) Rotary Wing and Components Businesses. That agency’s assets included in the proposed sale include helicopter repair facilities in Southampton, which support military CH-47 Chinooks, Lynx, and Sea Kings, and helicopter component repair facilities in Almondbank, Scotland, which support for those helicopters and other platforms for U.K. defense and other agencies.
