Australian Helicopters, Boeing Australia, Sign Agreement

Australian Helicopters, a privately owned helicopter company in Brisbane Australia, has signed a $22 million contract with Boeing Australia Ltd. to provide the Australian army with two Bell Helicopter 412SPs for the next five years. The contract includes pilots and engineering support and begins Sept. 23. The aircraft, known as the crash response and loadmaster training helicopters, will be based at the Army Aviation Training Centre in Queensland. The crash response helicopter is capable of transporting two patients and a medical team. For related news
