Flight for Life Expanding Services

Flight for Life, a medical transport company based at the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center, Wauwatosa, Wis. is remote-basing its Flight for Life Wisconsin helicopter to Waukesha County Airport- Crites Field in order to expand its services. The service flies an American Eurocopter BK117 B2 from its Wisconsin facility. The move will take place in mid-2008. In addition to the helicopter based in Wisconsin, the company flies a BK117A4 from its facility in McHenry, Ill. According to Flight for Life, 30-40 percent of its service region is over Lake Michigan. Remote basing the helicopter to Waukesha will extend the services the company provides. Flight for Life will maintain the hangar facility at the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center. For related news
