The Finnish government is investigating why NHIndustries has delayed delivery of its NH90s. Defense Minister Jyri Häkämies has tasked a civil servant with assessing the procurement and development of the tactical transport helicopter, which is produced by the NHI partnership of Eurocopter, AgustaWestland, and Stork Aerospace. Deliveries were to begin in 2004, and the new aircraft were to be operational next year. Finland has yet to receive an NH90. The defense ministry said a report on the program would be ready early next year. For related news
