The Israel Air Force plans to start flight testing its newly upgraded transport helicopter this week, according to The Jerusalem Post. The Yasour 2025 is equipped with more than 20 new electronic systems, including a missile-defense system. The Yasour—the air force's name for the Sikorsky Aircraft CH-53—entered service with the air force in 1969 and is its primary troop transport. The Yasour was used extensively during the Second Lebanon War in 2006. For related news
