China's AVIC 2 is joining Sikorsky Aircraft and Shanghai Little Eagle as a shareholder of Shanghai Sikorsky. Established in 2003, Shanghai Sikorsky's main products are Shen 2B, Shen 3A, and Shen 4T, all Schweizer Aircraft models built under license. Shanghai Sikorsky also provides support and training. AVIC 2's investment is through its subsidiaries Changhe Aircraft Industries Corp. and Shanghai Xinsheng Aviation Industry Investment and Development Co. Plans call for it shortly to begin providing supply chain management services for both Sikorsky's and Changhe's civil fleet in China. For related news
