Texas Aviation Services has delivered two more Bell Helicopter 206 completions for clients in Mexico.

The customers are SCALA, a company that buys and leases aircraft for offshore and corporate customers, and Promotora Royal Home, one of the largest builders and realtors in Mexico. Both helicopters were outfitted with a special avionics suite and customized airframe kits to meet each customer’s specific needs.

These deliveries added to Texas Aviation Services’ already record high levels of revenues and backlogs for 2007. With strong momentum going into 2008, the company is investing in additional technical depth and throughput capacity. Plans for this year call for facility enhancements and substantial hiring.

"We are grateful to our many valued customers throughout the western hemisphere for the numbers of helicopter projects that we performed in 2007 for civil completions and military retrofits," said Tim Woodard, president of the company. "We anticipate quite a bit of new hiring going into 2008 to keep up with our backlog of growth already booked."
