Helicopters flew a record number of rescue flights in Austria's Tyrol region on Feb. 17, the Viennese newspaper Wiener Zeitung reports. Quoting an official of the Tyrol Integrated Control Center, the newspaper said more than 100 helicopter flights were conducted to rescue injured skiers at resorts in the Tyrol. Daily flights have been averaging about 70 a day. The center has been responsible for about 20 percent of the flights.
