The U.K. aviation services company PremiAir is forming a new aircraft sales business. Based at Farnborough Airport, PremiAir Global is focused on acquiring and selling new and used helicopters and business jets and says it is not affiliated to any aircraft manufacturer. Heading it is Managing Director Tim Blockley, who has more than 10 years experience in business jet and helicopter sales and leasing in the United Kingdom, Europe and North America. Joining him is Helicopter Sales Executive Louise Wheatley, who has eight years aviation sales experience, most recently managing helicopter sales activity at Michael Wheatley Helicopters in the United Kingdom, a business originally established and operated by Louise’s late father. The company said its sales portfolio currently includes a new AgustaWestland A109S Grand available in the first quarter of 2009, a 2005 A109S, a 1984 Agusta 109A Mk2 and a 1980 Bell Helicopter 222A.
