In Hillside Ill., just outside of Chicago, Air Angels, managed and run by REACH Medical Holdings, rescued the driver of a semi that had rolled over on the expressway. The Bell 222, piloted by Jeff Meisenger, with nurse Joe Bunch and medic Doug Mendlik on board, landed on 1-290 to rescue the driver who had already been extricated by the local fire dept. Air Angels cover 150 nm in the state and reached the patient within 20 min of receiving the call from 911. They flew the driver to Loyola Hospital. For related news
