India’s Helicopter Training Center

In a joint venture with CAE Canada and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, India will open a helicopter-training center in Bangalore. The joint venture will be called the Helicopter Academy to Train by Simulation of Flying (HATSOFF) and should be ready for operation in 2010. CAE will design and manufacture one full-mission simulator that will be able to represent various helicopters including the HAL-built DHRUV, the Bell 412 and Eurocopter’s Dauphin. For related news
