The three flight training devices are to be developed and built by Frasca for FAA Level 7 Helicopter FTDs. The devices include models for an AS-350B2, a Bell 206B/206L and a Bell 407.  Flightsafety's Helicopter Learning Center of Excellence is schedule to open by the end of the year and the FTDs will be installed there. Frasca's flight test dept will collect aerodynamic data required to support the FTD's Level 7 qualification. The company will outfit the aircraft with dozens of sensors and fly hundreds of very specific maneuvers, then use this data and precisely model the aircraft's performance. For related news
