NTSB Schedules EMS Public Hearing

The National Transportation Safety Board will convene a public hearing on helicopter emergency medical services in Washington, D.C. from Feb 3-5, 2009. The NTSB hopes to find solutions to the rising number of EMS-related helicopter and airplane fatalities in the U.S. Scheduled witnesses include pilots, managers, medical flight personnel and representatives from the FAA.
