Boeing’s Philadelphia production lines have been reopened and operating normally for a week now that the plant has been cleared to resume building the V-22 Osprey and CH-47 Chinook. Production was stopped on Nov. 21 when a plastic cap was found lodged in a fuel line of a soon-to-be completed V-22. As a contractor to the U.S. military, Boeing was required to cease all manufacturing activities regarding those two designs until a joint investigation by company and government officials could rule out sabotage.
