On Feb. 13, the government of Slovakia agreed to dedicate two Mi-17 transport helicopters and crews to the peacekeeping effort in Bosnia and Hertzegovina. The deployment of the aircraft and up to 35 crewmembers is scheduled to last from Feb. 19 through June 15 of this year, and is in keeping with their continued support of peace in that region.  Slovakia currently supports the mission in Sarajevo with 40 military personnel.
