EADS Receives Order for More Lakotas

EADS North America, the parent company of Eurocopter North America, has received a contract to build five additional UH-72A Lakota helicopters for the U.S. Army, bringing the total number of the twin-engine, light utility aircraft to 128. More than 54 have already been assembled at Eurocopter’s plant in Columbus, Miss., and are seeing service with active Army and Army National Guard units. For more information
