NBC affiliate WPXI in Pittsburgh is reporting that sensitive information on the technical specifications of Marine One have been compromised. The report says that files pertaining to engineering and communications systems aboard the serving fleet of VH-3Ds were leaked by a Bethesda, Md.-based defense contractor. The information then went to an Iranian Internet provider’s address by way of another company in Cranberry Township, Pa. So far, the severity of the information has not been described and there are no accusations that the leak was anything more than an unintentional mishap within a file sharing system.
