Hundreds Mourn Offshore Deaths

The crowds at St. Johns church in Canada included Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Danny Williams. A multi-faith service was held to honor the 17 people who died last week when a helicopter, carrying offshore workers, crashed into the Atlantic Ocean.  One man survived. Canada’s Transportation Safety Board recovered both the cockpit voice recorder and the flight data recorder, which they sent to Ottawa for analysis. For related news
