Air Tour Safety Improves in Hawaii

Pursuant to several safety-related rules implemented by the FAA, as well as advancements in technology, Hawaii has seen a decrease in the annual average of air tour accidents in the past 10 years. The state's annual average, which includes both fixed and rotary wing operations, dropped from 3.6 accidents to 2.6 since 1998.
