Whirly-Girls Announce Scholarship Winners

The Whirly-Girls, a worldwide organization for women helicopter pilots, announced the award of more than $25,000 in training scholarships and $12,000 in cash to six lucky recipients. Tiffany Till of Houston, Tex. received a scholarship from American Eurocopter; Laura Wendt of Tucson, Ariz. won one a scholarship from Bell Helicopter Textron; Karen Mall of W. Hollywood, Calif. received the Safety Course Scholarship from Robinson Helicopter; Rachel Miller-Tester of Chattanooga, Tenn. took home the Whirly-Girls Helicopter Flight Training Scholarship; Cynthia Kaase of San Diego, Calif. won the Whirly-Girls Memorial Flight Training Scholarship; and the Advanced Mountain Fight Training Scholarship went to Terri Watson of Lander, Wyo.
