President Barack Obama's administration has notified Congress that Egypt would receive the AH-64D Apache Longbows under an $820-million deal. Congress has 30 days to block the Egyptian request for the Longbow. Egypt is saying it will use the helicopters to protect its borders. The sale includes installations and provides for close air support for the ground forces. For related news
