Members of the 304th Integrated Theater Signal Battalion in Camp Mobile, South Korea, practiced attaching a vehicle to the underbelly of a Chinook this week. Two helicopters from Camp Humphreys flew 80 miles north, each strapped with a vehicle, to Camp Mobile. At Mobile, the Chinooks dropped off its vehicle on an airfield, landed to unload and pick up soldiers, then took off and hovered while another vehicle was attached for the return trip to Humphreys. If North Korea follows through on its recent threats against South Korea, and other countries, the 304th will be ready to transport vehicles via air. For related news
