Lockheed Martin has obtained a $142-million follow-on contract for 55 additional Arrowhead kits for the AH-64D Apache attack helicopter. The Lot 6 agreement involves the Arrowhead modernized target acquisition designation sight/pilot night vision sensor (M-TADS/PNVS) for U.S. Army and foreign-operated Apaches. The latest extension expands Arrowhead production through December 2011. Lockheed Martin says that more than 850 systems have been delivered or are on order for the full program, including Lot 6.
