President: Helicopter Would Have Kitchen

U.S. President Barack Obama continued his opposition to funding the VH-71 program during a speech at a Veterans of Foreign Wars Conference this week. He also revealed that the helicopter, which is intended as a replacement for the current Marine One fleet, would have come equipped with a kitchen. “It would let me cook a meal while under nuclear attack,” he said. “If the United States is under nuclear attack, the last thing on my mind will be whipping up a snack,” Obama continued.
