DART Helicopter Services (DHS) has appointed Steven E. Joseph as general manager. He will also support DHS subsidiaries including Apical, Canam and Geneva Aviation. A former U.S. Marine Corps pilot and officer, Joseph was previously president of Geneva Aviation.

West Plains, Mo.-based Air Evac Lifeteam has given its 2009 Regional Mechanic of the Year award to helicopter mechanic Maynard Winch, who is based in McMinn County, Tenn. An August ceremony honored employees from Air Evac Lifeteam’s Lexington region.

WestWind Technologies has named Roger Tanner business development manager for hangar operations. Tanner was previously hangar operations manager for the Huntsville, Ala.-based company.


Tim Mahoney is the new president of Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix. He replaces Rob Gillette, who has taken a job as CEO of First Solar of Tempe, Ariz. Mahoney was formerly chief technology officer for Honeywell Aerospace. The company has also promoted Kevin Moriarty to vice president and CFO.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based CRS Jet Spares has hired Stephanie Wilson as marketing coordinator. A marketing and public relations specialist, Wilson will assist with customer awareness programs.

TeamSAI of Lakewood, Colo. has made three appointments to its executive team. David Marcontell is the new president of the company’s M&E Solutions subsidiary in Atlanta. TeamSAI has also promoted Mike McBride to executive vice president. He will also take the role of CFO. In addition, the company has elected Mike Moore as a VP and principal for the company.
