Names of Some Crash Victims Released

As more details emerge about the deadly pair of helicopter crashes in Afghanistan on Monday, some of the names of the 14 victims are being released. Among the dead are three Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) agents and a Massachusetts pilot—Kyle VanDeGisen, 29—whose wife is expecting her second child. U.S. President Barack Obama praised the fallen for their sacrifices to the country during a speech yesterday in Jacksonville, Fla. A total of 11 American soldiers and three civilians died in the crashes.
