The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR)’s Tactical Airlift, Adversary and Support Programs (PMA-207) handed over four new Mi-17 helicopters to the Afghan National Army Air Corps (ANAAC) in late November. Delivery took place in Kabul. The helicopters will supply combat airlift, medical evacuation and logistical support for Afghan military forces and government officials.
