Using its new Eurocopter AS350B3 Ecureuil, Fishtail Air performed a long-line rescue on April 29 at the highest altitude ever recorded. Under a collaborative rescue effort with Switzerland’s Air Zermatt, Fishtail Air extracted three Spanish climbers from Nepal’s Mount Annapurna who were stranded for 36 hours. The rescue took place at an altitude of around 22,640 feet (6,900 meters).
