NTSB, FAA Seek Cause of EMS Crash

Paramedic Michael Eccard, the lone survivor of an EagleMed Eurocopter AS350 crash on Thursday northwest of Oklahoma City, remained in critical condition late Sunday, according to News9.com. Two people—pilot Al Harrison and flight nurse Ryan Duke—died in the crash, which occurred after the helicopter left Oklahoma City around 8:00 p.m. Thursday headed for a hospital about 90 miles away. National Transportation Safety Board and FAA investigators have launched an probe into the crash.
