Timken to Offer Sikorsky Bearing Repairs

Brisbane, Australia-based Sikorsky Helitech, a division of Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS), has inked a distribution agreement with the Timken Company to provide bearing inspections, overhauls and reconditioning for operators in Australia, New Zealand, New Guinea and other islands in the South Pacific. The agreement calls for bearing services for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, as well as a large inventory of bearings at Sikorsky Helitech’s facility in Brisbane.
