REBTECH, the Bedford, Texas-based division of REB Technologies, has hired James Garrett (left) as new vice president of operations. He has more than 40 years’ experience in instrument manufacturing and repairs. Garrett received crew station lighting certification from the Aerospace Lighting Institute in 1987.

Erickson Air-Crane or Portland, Ore. has appointed David Ford as vice president of aircraft manufacturing and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). He previously worked as general manager of Sikorsky Global Helicopters. Ford will be based at the company’s manufacturing/MRO facilities in Central Point, Ore.

Christophe Nurit is the new vice president of sales and marketing for MD Helicopters of Mesa, Ariz. He comes from Bell Helicopter, where he was most recently marketing and sales director for the Middle East and Africa.


Baldwin Aviation has hired Robert Conyers (right) director of safety management, An ATP-rated pilot and CFI, Conyers comes from Global Aerospace, where he was manager of general aviation safety. Currently a member of the NBAA Safety Committee, Conyers has served on NATA’s Flight Training Committee and FAA’s Air Traffic Procedures Committee.

Rockwell Collins Government Systems has promoted Phil Jasper to vice president of business development. The company has also promoted Dave Nieuwsma to fill Jasper’s former role as vice president and general manager of Mobility and Rotary Wing Solutions. Nieuwsma was previously senior director of tanker/transport solutions.

AAR Corp. has named Jeffrey Schloesser president of its Aviation Worldwide Services (AWS) division. He is the former director of U.S. Army Aviation and served as commanding general of the 101st Airborne Division and regional command-east in Afghanistan.

Wichita, Kan.-based Mid-Continent Instruments has promoted Marissa Reddick (left) to purchasing manager. It is the second promotion for Reddick in a recent weeks, as Mid-Continent named her purchasing supervisor in May 2010.
