A new podcast and supporting white paper are now available at no charge at Rotor & Wing’s parent website, Aviation Specialties Unlimited (ASU) President Mike Atwood clears up questions about night vision goggles (NVGs) in “NVG Classification: Myths and Misconceptions.Rotor & Wing Editor-in-Chief Joy Finnegan moderates the discussion, which touches on subjects such as the difference in Class A, B and C goggles, FAA-approved cockpit modifications and supplemental type certificates (STCs). Atwood sheds further light on the subject in a white paper, “The Origins of Classifications: Dispelling the Myths of Night Vision Classifications.”
