Russia’s Center for Scientific and Technical Services (CSTS) Dinamika is partnering with Russian Helicopters to develop and produce technical training units (TTUs) for helicopter pilots and maintenance personnel. The cooperation agreement also involves marketing the TTUs. According to Russian Helicopters CEO Dmitry Petrov, the teaming represents a “strategic transition” within the company, “from selling just the helicopter as a separate product to selling its entire lifecycle, including servicing and modern means for the preparation and training of flight personnel.” CSTS Dinamika makes simulators for a variety of Mil helicopter types, including the Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-171 and Mi-35.
