Navy Secures Lockheed Support

Lockheed Martin has received $249 million in contracts to maintain and upgrade a fleet of H-60s from its facility in Owego, N.Y. According to U.S. Rep. Maurice Hinchey (D-NY), $179 million will be used for a performance-based logistics (PBL) agreement with Sikorsky to support the H-60s. The other $70 million is allocated for improvements to the helicopter’s flight management system, including Lockheed Martin’s situational awareness technology insertion (SATI).
