Under a Global Supply Chain (GSC) Deed, Lockheed Martin is planning to offer subcontracts to companies in Australia related to aircraft hardware on the Sikorsky MH-60R. One of the first contracts up for bid is the weapons pylons. A team of Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky, GE, Raytheon and CAE are offering the MH-60R for Australia’s Air 900 Phase 8 competition. Source selection for the pylons is expected before the end of the year.
