The China World Helicopter Association is planning to hold the second World Helicopter Development Conference in Tienjing from October 17–19, 2011. As China continues to loosen restrictions on low-altitude airspace, it will open more areas of the country to private and GA operations. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) expects that with the opening of low-altitude airspace, the market size for general aviation, including related industries, may reach one trillion yuan (U.S. $151 billion).
