Turbomeca Ardiden 3G Chosen for Ka-62

Russian Helicopters and Turbomeca have entered into an agreement to install the Ardiden 3G on the Kamov Ka-62. The contract covers at least 308 engines. The helicopters will be fitted with the 3G, which is a variant of the Ardiden 3 line. Russian Helicopters expects Ka-62 certification in 2014. The helicopter will serve in a multirole capacity, including for the oil and gas industry, for search and rescue missions, and corporate transportation.
