The European aviation market is a “top priority” for Russian Helicopters, CEO Dmitry Petrov said during the Paris Air Show. Part of this new focus is a fleet of 197 light Ka-226Ts with Turbomeca Arrius 2G engines, which India is currently bidding on. This follows an earlier contract between the French engine maker and Russian Helicopters for 308 Ardiden 3Gs for the medium-twin Ka-62.
