Griffons to Assist Hurricane Relief

Canada’s Department of National Defence has dispatched three Bell CH-146 Griffons to support the Jamaica Defence Force during the 2011 hurricane season. The helicopters will be used for medevac and SAR missions, and the Canadian Air Force will conduct SAR training exercises under Operation Jaguar. More than 60 people from the Canadian Forces will be involved in the effort.
