Boeing Wins UK Chinook Contract

The UK Ministry of Defence has awarded Boeing a £1 billion ($1.64 billion) contract for 14 new CH-47 Mk-6 Chinooks for the Royal Air Force (RAF). Boeing will also support the RAF’s new helicopters for five years after delivery. The new-build Chinooks are part of the MoD’s plans to expand the RAF fleet to more than 50 Chinooks.
