IDGC Pairs with Russian Helicopters

Russian Helicopters has reached an agreement with IDGC Holdings to upgrade and expand the utility provider’s current fleet of Ka-226Ts that are used for electricity grid air patrols. IDGC maintains more than two million kilometers (1,242,742 miles) of power lines throughout the county. The newly upgraded fleet will allow IDGC to quickly dispatch engineers to remote locations for line repairs.
