In addition to a high level of activity from helicopter support companies, OEMs reported a number of new helicopter orders during last week’s Air Medical Transport Conference (AMTC). Among the manufacturers that released final figures was Eurocopter, which tallied sales of 26 helicopters, comprised of 10 EC145s, six EC135s and 10 single-engine variants. Look for more AMTC coverage on the web in coming weeks from Editor-at-Large Ernie Stephens, as well as in the December print issue. Below is a pair of photos from AMTC—the instrument panel on the AgustaWestland Grand New (top) and an Allegheny Life Flight MD902 on the AMTC show floor.
